| you have high resistence in your circuit. even if you just the saftey boost solenoids you will still have code 34 which will have the ecu in a saftey fueel and timing map as well (jwt's maps thought are equal to primary maps thought because of issues like yours). i have seen ECUs them selves cause code 34 due to internal failture. but ussually bad old sensors and broken subharnesses. if you have 512 ohm resistence you need to narrow down the bad section. unplug the subhanress and check resistance of the efi harness from ecu connector to engine side connector. also ohm the knock sensor though the subharness. if it ohms bad on that side you know you have a bad subharness or sensor. BTW if your good with your hands you can remove the trans, and replace the knock sensor with a gear wrench 12mm even with egr in place, ive done it.
